Through My Lens
Behind the Camera
Photographs have always been my way of holding onto moments that might otherwise slip away.
Photography taught me to slow down.
To notice the light after a storm.
The texture of weathered wood.
Morning fog rolling across the Santa Barbara coastline.
The quiet beauty most people walk right past.
I don’t photograph because everything is perfect.
I photograph because every ordinary moment has the potential to become extraordinary when we truly see it.

Why I Photograph
Some photographs are technically perfect.
Others simply make you feel something.
I’ve learned that I care much more about the second kind.
If one of my photographs makes you pause…
remember somewhere you’ve been…
or notice beauty in an ordinary day…
then it has done exactly what I hoped.
Take the long way home.
Notice the light.
Find the beauty.
Thank you for taking the time to see the world through my lens.
